Heavy-Duty Camera Bollard Enclosure
Purpose-Built Protection. Professional Appearance. Uncompromising Security.
Protect critical surveillance equipment with a camera enclosure engineered for demanding security environments. Our Heavy-Duty Camera Bollard Enclosure combines the strength of a substantial steel bollard with a purpose-built, weather-resistant housing designed to protect cameras, electronics, communications equipment, and associated wiring.
Unlike lightweight camera pedestals or exposed pole-mounted systems, this enclosure provides a rugged, low-profile, professional solution for vehicle entrances, secure facilities, parking structures, government properties, data centers, military installations, schools, campuses, and other high-security applications.
EXAMPLE: Built around a substantial 12″ x 12″ square steel enclosure, the unit stands approximately 40″ tall and is permanently welded to an oversized 20″ x 20″ steel base plate for a strong, stable installation.
Engineered for Security Camera Integration
The enclosure features a large front viewing window designed to provide the internally mounted camera with a clear, unobstructed field of view while keeping valuable equipment protected inside the steel housing.
The camera remains concealed and protected from direct contact, accidental impact, weather exposure, and casual tampering. The generous viewing area accommodates a wide range of camera configurations and allows flexibility in camera positioning, lens angle, and final field-of-view adjustment.
Key Features
- Heavy-Duty 12″ x 12″ Steel Bollard Body — Provides substantial interior space for cameras, brackets, power supplies, network components, surge protection, and related equipment.
- Approximately 40″ Overall Height — Ideal for low-level vehicle identification, license plate capture, entrance monitoring, access control surveillance, and specialized security applications.
- Oversized 20″ x 20″ Welded Base Plate — Creates a broad, stable mounting footprint and allows secure anchoring to a properly designed concrete foundation.
- Large Protective Camera Viewing Window — Generous front opening supports a wide range of camera systems and viewing angles while maintaining a clean, integrated appearance.
- Weather-Resistant Transparent Window Panel — Clear protective glazing can be configured using durable impact-resistant material selected for the application, helping shield the camera from rain, dust, debris, and physical contact.
- Removable Top Access Hatch — The entire upper lid can be removed for convenient installation, servicing, adjustment, and replacement of internal components.
- Secure Top Lid Design — The removable hatch can incorporate tamper-resistant fasteners or other locking provisions to limit unauthorized access.
- Internal Camera Mounting Plate — A dedicated mounting surface provides a solid foundation for the camera assembly and allows precise positioning behind the viewing window.
- Adjustable Equipment Mounting Capability — Interior mounting provisions can be configured for fixed cameras, specialty cameras, LPR/ANPR systems, thermal cameras, or other surveillance technologies.
- Rear Lower Conduit Access — Strategically located conduit entry at the back bottom of the enclosure allows power, fiber, Ethernet, control wiring, and communications cabling to enter discreetly from the rear or below.
- Protected Cable Routing — Wiring remains contained within the steel enclosure, reducing exposed conduit and helping protect critical connections from weather, impact, and tampering.
- Weather-Resistant Construction — Designed with protected openings, sealed penetrations, gasketing, and weather-conscious fabrication details to help defend sensitive equipment from harsh outdoor conditions.
- Water-Resistant Interior Protection — The enclosure can incorporate gasketed access points, sealed window construction, protected conduit penetrations, and drainage or condensation-management features as required by the installation.
- Service-Friendly Interior — The large enclosure body and removable top provide technicians with practical access for camera alignment, wiring, troubleshooting, cleaning, and equipment replacement.
- Clean Architectural Appearance — Conceals cameras, brackets, wiring, and electronics inside a professional steel housing rather than leaving sensitive equipment exposed on a conventional pole.
- Custom Fabrication Available — Window dimensions, mounting plates, conduit locations, overall height, base plate configuration, finish, internal brackets, ventilation, and equipment provisions can be tailored to project requirements.
Built for Demanding Security Environments
This is more than a camera mount. It is a purpose-built protective security enclosure designed to integrate surveillance technology into a rugged steel platform.
Ideal applications include:
Vehicle Access Control Points • License Plate Recognition • Parking Garage Entrances • Military Installations • Government Facilities • Courthouses • Data Centers • Critical Infrastructure • School Campuses • Airports • Industrial Facilities • Secure Residential Communities • High-Security Perimeters
Designed Around the Equipment — Not the Other Way Around
Every security installation is different. Camera dimensions, lens requirements, viewing angles, conduit routing, power needs, network hardware, and site conditions can vary dramatically. That is why the enclosure can be configured around the actual camera and electronics package.
From the internal mounting plate to the viewing window and conduit entry points, the enclosure can be fabricated to provide a clean, integrated solution that protects equipment while preserving the camera’s required field of view.
Rugged Outside. Intelligent Inside.
Heavy steel construction. Protected camera visibility. Concealed wiring. Rear conduit access. Removable service hatch. Internal mounting provisions. Weather-resistant design. Professional security-grade appearance.
The result is a camera enclosure built for locations where ordinary housings and exposed camera poles simply are not enough.
