A: Bollards that don’t need to be removed are called fixed bollard barriers. These bollard barriers are surface mounted to the roadway. More substantial fixed bollard barriers are cemented into the ground, often with a rebar cage, providing additional strength in the event of a vehicle ramming incident or motorist accident.
